Terms for humebodypod.uk
The ground rules that apply to ordering from humebodypod.uk and using the Hume Health app.
Last updated: June 2026
This page lays out the terms for using humebodypod.uk and the Hume Health app (together, the "Services"), run by Hume Health Corp. Ordering, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services means you're accepting what follows.
1. Who's Eligible To Use This Site
You must be 18 or over to place an order at humebodypod.uk or set up a Hume Health account. We don't knowingly gather information from anyone under 13, and the Services aren't built with children in mind.
2. Placing An Order
Placing an order is your offer to buy a Hume Body Pod (plus any add-ons, such as the extended warranty) at the listed price. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders โ for instance where fraud is suspected, a pricing error has occurred, or stock is unavailable โ and you'll receive a full refund in that case.
Prices appear in GBP unless stated otherwise, and are subject to change without advance notice; any price change won't retroactively affect an order already placed.
3. Shipping and Returns
Shipping timeframes and the return process are covered in full on our Refund & Returns page, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
4. Not A Medical Device
The Hume Body Pod is a consumer wellness product built to help you track body composition trends over time. It is not a medical device, and it isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Figures such as body fat percentage, visceral fat rating, and metabolic age are wellness estimates generated from bioelectrical impedance sensor data โ not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
If you have a pacemaker or another implanted medical device, speak with your GP before using the Hume Body Pod. Don't base medical decisions solely on data from the device or app.
5. Protecting Your Account
You're responsible for anything that occurs under your Hume Health account, so keep your login details private. If you think someone else has gained access, let us know as soon as possible.
6. What's Not Permitted
Don't reverse-engineer or interfere with the hardware or software in ways that breach applicable law, use the Services to infringe anyone's rights, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
7. Brand and Content Ownership
"Hume Body Pod," "Hume Health," and associated marks are the property of Hume Health Corp. The device design, the app, and everything published on this site are protected by copyright and related rights; reproducing them without permission isn't allowed.
8. Warranty and Liability
Beyond the specific warranty described in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services are supplied as-is, without further warranty, to whatever extent the law permits. Hume Health Corp isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the product or Services, again to the extent the law allows that limitation. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
9. Changes To These Terms
These Terms may be revised occasionally. Any revision is reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after a change means the new version applies to you.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any additional consumer protections you're entitled to under the law of the part of the UK where you're based.
