Buying a body composition scanner without trying it in person first asks for a bit of trust. This page sets out exactly what happens if the Hume Body Pod isn't the right fit.
You've Got 50 Nights
Counting from the day your order arrives, you have 50 nights to send it back for a full refund โ for any reason at all, no explanation required. It doesn't need to be unused or in its original box; we stand behind it even after regular use.
Sending It Back, Step By Step
- Get in touch with support through the Hume Health app or the email address on your order confirmation, and let us know you'd like to return your order.
- Expect a prepaid return label in your inbox inside 1 working day.
- Pack the scanner and the handheld sensor bar together โ the original box isn't required.
- Drop it at any courier collection point using the label provided.
- Once we've received and checked it, your refund is issued to your original payment method, typically within 5โ7 working days.
What You Get Back
The full purchase price. Added the 10-Year Warranty at checkout and returning the scanner itself? That add-on is refunded too โ there's nothing left for it to protect once the device has gone back.
Who Covers Return Shipping
We do. The prepaid label is free for any return made within the 50-night window, provided the order was placed directly through humebodypod.uk.
A Few Things Worth Knowing
- This guarantee applies to orders placed directly with us. Bought through a third-party marketplace? Start with their own return process โ we can't promise the same terms apply there.
- Refunds go back to whichever payment method was used at checkout. We're unable to redirect a refund to a different card or account.
- Past the 50-night mark, a faulty unit may still be eligible for a warranty repair or replacement โ details below.
Making A Warranty Claim
Every Hume Body Pod comes with a 1-year hardware warranty covering genuine manufacturing faults โ sensor inaccuracy or charging issues under normal use, for example. If you added the optional 10-Year Warranty, that cover runs the full decade from your original purchase date, plus recalibration on request should accuracy ever seem off.
To make a claim, contact support with your order number and a brief description of the issue. Most hardware problems are resolved by posting out a free replacement unit.
