What exactly is the Hume Body Pod?
A home body composition analyser. Step onto the platform, grip the included handheld sensor bar for a few seconds, and it scans body fat, muscle mass, visceral fat, and 42 further markers — lab-verified at 98% accuracy.
Is the BIA scanning technology safe to use?
Yes. Bioelectrical impedance scanning has more than two decades of safe use behind it. The Hume Body Pod runs a patented frequency tuned specifically for extra precision. If you have a pacemaker, check with your GP beforehand.
Is the handheld bar necessary on every scan?
For the fullest, most accurate reading — segmental analysis of your arms and torso included — yes. A feet-only scan still works and still beats a typical smart scale for detail, but the handheld bar is what unlocks the full picture.
Can more than one person at home scan with it?
Yes — each household member signs in with their own Hume account for accurate individual tracking. As it connects over Bluetooth, only one phone pairs at a time; open the app and step on to scan.

£179 at the current UK offer, down from £275. That's a single purchase — no subscription is required to unlock any of the 45 tracked markers.
Is the Premium plan worth adding?
Entirely optional, at £8.49/month, adding nutrition tracking, personalised coaching, and full weekly health reports. Every core body composition marker is already included with your purchase — nothing extra required.
Is the checkout secure?

Can I spread the cost?
Yes — split the Hume Body Pod into 18 payments of £9.93 at checkout instead of paying the full amount up front.
UK Shipping
How fast does it ship?
Within 1–2 working days of your order going through. Most UK addresses then receive it within another 2–4 working days after that.
Is shipping free?
Yes, shipping is free on every UK order, regardless of order size.
Do you ship beyond mainland UK?
We ship right across the UK, Northern Ireland included. Deliveries to the Channel Islands or other offshore addresses may take a bit longer — get in touch with support before ordering for a specific estimate.

Does it come with a warranty?
Every unit ships with a 1-year hardware warranty at no extra charge. There's also an optional 10-Year Warranty for £33 at checkout (£50 if added later), covering the shell and every internal sensor, plus recalibration on request.
What's the top weight it can scan?
The Hume Body Pod scans accurately up to 28 stone (roughly 180 kilograms).

Can I take my own data out?
Yes, whenever you like, straight from the Hume Health app. It's your data — exporting is never gated behind anything.
